About Me
I combine images in drypoint, collograph, or woodblock with unrepeatable marks directly from the monotype plate. Often, I elaborate on a central image over a series of prints. The symbol evokes a feeling, and the print is my part in the conversation. Of course, the ink and the paper get to have a voice as well. I’m fascinated by the unexpected effects that can happen in this process.
I do most of my work at the Shepherd & Maudsleigh Studio printshop in Newton, MA. In addition to a wide array of printmaking and book arts resource, there is a supportive and caring community of other artists.
